Always in a land far, far away
Reaching out my hand to the sky
I'm wishing for time to sway
Or for my wings to grow so as to fly

Happily ever after isn't a lie
Neither is it as easy as the movies portray
Love is the glue between you and I
Despite this distance the heart does not stray

I'd hold you forever if life would permit
Tell you thousands of tales of happiness
Such a luxury I would never forfeit
All the joys my heart'd profess

Forgive the nature of this primitive rhyme
This is the product of a happy heart
That knows no memory of a time
When it once was nothing but an uncaring lark
